Tips/Microsoft links to monitor kids PC

has been doing great in school with A’s and B’s while keeping up with all his extracurriculars, so as a reward, I got him a computer. If you’re curious, here’s the link to it: https://www.metapcs.com/product/hayze/.

How can I set it up to monitor his activity on the computer? I’ve been in the Apple ecosystem since 2020, so I’ve completely forgotten how to handle this and I’m not familiar with any new tools Microsoft has released.

Would it be easier to monitor if we created an Outlook email for his Windows login?

Should I add that Outlook account to my Microsoft/Windows family setup?

I know this is opening Pandora’s box for him (lol, ugh), but a deal’s a deal, and I need to follow through on my end of the promise. I mostly want to replicate what I can do with ScreenTime on his iPhone—things like locking it down, blocking certain content (yes, I know there are always workarounds), and getting activity reports like ScreenTime provides.

Any tips from parents here with experience in this area—or anyone familiar with what I’m asking for—would be super appreciated. Thanks in advance!
