I don’t know why I have come here to rant about this but I feel I need to rant somewhere. For background we have a mixture of tech in our house from Windows through to Apple for a variety of purposes. On setting up a MacBook Air for wife at the weekend I noticed when installing Word that autosave was disabled, so naturally I turned it on. Imagine my horror when a realise that autosave only works with OneDrive and not locally. This is so user hostile that …. I had to actually do a double take and check my facts, yep it’s true ! A basic piece of functionally now only works with OneDrive.
I am gobsmacked and saddened by this.
