My Windows Books Are Just 99 Cents Each, Today Only

To celebrate Microsoft’s 50th anniversary this week, I’m having a one-day sale on my three current Windows books. Windows Everywhere, the Windows 11 Field Guide, and the Windows 10 Field Guide are each just 99 cents, today only.

I wanted to make the available for free, but Leanpub won’t let me do that for some reason, and despite a clear UI for choosing “free” in the management interface. But 99 cents is pretty cheap, so there you go. Note that you’re welcome to pay more, too: One of the nice things about Leanpub is its variable pricing model.

Here are the links.

Windows Everywhere. Normally, $19.99 and up.

Windows 11 Field Guide. Normally, $9.99 and up.

Windows 10 Field Guide. No longer being updated, it’s normally $9.99 and up.

The Windows 11 Field Guide is still being updated, though I will likely move to a new edition for the next Windows version (25H2 or Windows 12, whatever Microsoft calls it). And I have plans to update Windows Everywhere this year. For the current edition of both books, any future updates are free, and you can always download the latest version of each book from your Leanpub library.

The first (2025) edition of Eternal Spring: Our Guide to Mexico City, which I’m co-authoring with my wife, is also available in preview for $9.99. This one isn’t on sale because it’s not related to Microsoft, but we’re updating it regularly now as we push to get it into a more complete state and out of preview. It’s getting close.

Thanks!
