Got a Dell XPS 13 (9345 model). This is my first step into Windows on ARM outside of virtualization (on a MacBook Pro / Mac Studio).
As it’s corporate, I’m testing corporate policies and as such the quick boot and restart and sleep are nowhere to be found due to all of the policy processing.
Battery life is vastly better than my Latitude 5341 (Core i5) and my ThinkBook 14 G3 (AMD Ryzen 5), which is the first thing I’ve noticed empirically. I often attend daylong conferences with my MacBook Air and don’t bring a charger. I feel like I would be comfortable trying with this.
I’ve not hit any architecture compatibility issues yet, though I’m 100% knowledge worker so that’s probably not hard. Only Acrobat seems non-native of the “big things” and I can live without it 99% of the time anyway. (We use it only for signing things with digital sigs).
So far the fact that stuff just works as expected in x86-land is a pretty good sign…
