Apple’s winning streak continued with the firm reporting a net income of $25 billion on revenues of $95 billion in the quarter ending March 29, 2025. Those figures represent gains of 5 percent in each case, year-over-year (YOY).
“Today Apple is reporting strong quarterly results, including double-digit growth in Services,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said. “We were happy to welcome iPhone 16e to our lineup, and to introduce powerful new Macs and iPads that take advantage of the extraordinary capabilities of Apple Silicon. And we were proud to announce that we’ve cut our carbon emissions by 60 percent over the past decade.”
As always, the iPhone was Apple’s biggest business, with revenues of $46.8 billion, a gain of about 2 percent YOY, and almost 50 percent of Apple’s revenues overall. Mac and iPad saw solid revenue gains in the quarter–$7.9 billion (up 6.7 percent) and 6.4 billion (up 15 percent), respectively–but Wearables, Home, and Accessories was down 5 percent to $7.5 billion.
Services was its second-biggest business, as usual, with $27 billion in revenues, up 11.6 percent. Services now account for 28 percent of Apple’s revenues.
Apple vaguely noted that its “installed base of active devices once again reached a new all-time high across all product categories and geographic segments” but it didn’t provide an exact figure.
