Dock without charging

Hi everyone.

I wanted to check and see if anyone could recommend a USB-C dock solution that does NOT charge the Surface (or any other laptop). I’m sick of continuously charging my Surface devices. My existing Plugable Dock seems to be heating up my Surface Pro 11 and new 12 inch even when their batteries are 100% (and therefore should not be drawing much). This seems crazy to me. If my Pro 12″ can go several hours then I don’t want the continuous charging. Just want to easily connect my peripherals and get to work without the over charging.

Maybe the travel dock by Microsoft?
