Microsoft has opened registrations for the 2025 edition of its annual Ignite conference. This year, the IT Pro event will happen at the San Francisco Moscone Center on November 18–21, 2025, with an optional pre-day on Monday, November 17.
Last year’s Ignite conference was set in Chicago for the second time in a row, and the 2022 edition was set in Seattle. Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that it would no longer hold its annual Build developer conference in Seattle because of persisting problems with homelessness and drug use in the area. Unfortunately, San Francisco also suffers from similar problems.

Microsoft promises to deliver “the latest in cloud, AI, and security” at the event. Last year, some of the main highlights of Ignite 2024 were the Windows Resiliency Initiative, the Windows 365 Link reveal, and new AI features for Copilot+ PCs. We’ll need to wait for the Ignite 2025 session agenda to get more details about what to expect this year.
