
If you’ve been having issues with Outlook since yesterday, you’re not alone. Microsoft acknowledged an issue that’s preventing Outlook users from accessing their mailboxes, and all Outlook clients are impacted, including the Outlook.com web app.
Throughout the day, Microsoft has been sharing updates on X about what it’s doing to mitigate the issue. The company deployed a first fix about ten hours ago, then identified an issue with this initial fix and corrected it.
About an hour ago, the company posted “Our configuration changes have effectively resolved impact in targeted infrastructure. We’re now deploying the changes worldwide to resolve impact for all users.

A separate message on the company’s Service Health portal mentions that “most impacted users will experience relief within the next two hours.” I haven’t experienced any issues with my Outlook account and apps today, but your mileage may vary.
