So far, I’m not seeing any other reference to this (email, actual Movies & TV app, Store app), but it’s probably safe to say those are coming. To be fair, it doesn’t say anything about your purchased content going away; just that you won’t able to make new purchases moving forward. But that should make you more than a little worried about how long access to that purchased content will last. I’ve almost never purchased anything directly through Microsoft Movies and TV, in part because I was always sort of worried this day was coming. I’ve been very careful to buy most things through a nexus service like Movies Anywhere, so they’re not tied to any specific platform. I guess this is just another bellwether that Microsoft is not a great long-term partner for consumers.
