Music App with MCP Server

On MacBreak Weekly Jason Snell recommended an app named Longplay that plays albums using Apple Music. The really interesting part is that it comes with a ton of automation built in. It has a bunch of stuff for Shortcuts, but it also has a built in MCP server so AI can interact with it. This is very interesting because I have used AI to help me create a playlist. Too bad it’s Mac only, because if this were on Windows it could be incorporated into Copilot. I’m not sure if Copilot uses MCP yet or not, but I’m sure it will shortly.
