Bing Image Creator Adds GPT-4o Image Generation

Bing Image Creator GPT-4o

Microsoft’s Bing Image Creator can now generate images using OpenAI’s GPT-4o model. This latest image generation model, which can only create one detailed image at once, is being offered for free as an alternative to OpenAI’s older DALL-E-3 model, which can generate multiple images more quickly.

Microsoft previously enabled GPT‑4o Image Generation on the consumer version of its Copilot assistant, but Bing Image Creator is currently more ubiquitous. Users can now create images with GPT-4o from bing.com/create, the Bing app, or right from the Bing search bar or Edge address bar.

“GPT-4o delivers a major leap in image generation quality, bringing users an upgraded experience with more creative and photorealistic visuals as well as a deeper understanding of detailed prompts – including improved rendering of text and fine details. Whether you’re crafting a mood board, visualizing a product idea, or simply exploring your imagination, GPT-4o brings your vision to life with richer image generation,” Microsoft explained on its Bing blog.

GPT-4o image generation with Bing Image Creator remains free to use with 15 daily creations. Standard image creations with OpenAI’s older DALLE-3 model remain unlimited.
