New to Windows! :) But Surface Laptop Crashes

Hi All! I’m a long time Mac user, who recently started an MBA program. As a result, I knew I needed to keep a foot more into the Windows world. So be kind, I’m still on my Windows training wheels. 🙂

After lot of searching and reading, I recently settled on a Surface Laptop 7 – 13.8″. Coming from a MacBook Air user, first impressions, I love the feel of the hardware, the display is great, Windows 11 is clean (even with some of its quirks), overall I really like it….. but here comes the problem….I’ve had it now for 36 hours, and it has crashed several times while it’s asleep. I did all of the updates right out of the box. I’ve read on various forms that this was an issue a year ago when it launched, but there hasn’t been a fix yet. Am I wrong? Am I missing something? I don’t want to return it. I like this machine a lot, but if there isn’t a fix, I don’t feel like I have a choice but to return it.
