You Can Preorder the ROG Xbox Ally Now!

The ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X gaming handhelds are available for preorder now, with pricing starting at $599. The devices ship October 16.

“Starting today, players can pre-order the ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally — two powerful handhelds built to take your game library with you wherever you go,” the Xbox team writes in the announcement post. “They combine the best of ASUS hardware, the flexibility of Windows, and an approachable Xbox experience, so your games, friends, and progress are always within reach.”

The ROG Xbox Ally costs $599 and includes an AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of SSD storage, a 7-inch Full HD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 60 watt-hour battery.

The ROG Xbox Ally X costs $999 and includes an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor, 24 GB of RAM, 1 TB of SSD storage, a 7-inch Full HD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and an 80 watt-hour battery.

There are a few peripherals available too, including a SanDisk microSD card with up to 2TB of storage, a Seagate FireCuda 530R SSD in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities, and a ROG Xbox Ally (2-in-1) Premium Carrying Case.

Preorders are available now in Australia, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam, as well as 8 newly announced markets: Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Slovenia, South Africa, Thailand, and Ukraine.

You can pre-order the new Xbox gaming handhelds at Xbox, the Microsoft Store in the United States (ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X), the ASUS eshop, and select local retailers. And Microsoft says that more pre-order opportunities are coming soon in select other markets.
