Copilot on Windows 11 Getting Settings Support in Preview

Microsoft is updating the Copilot app in all Windows Insider channels with direct support for Windows 11 Settings.

“We are excited to begin rolling out a new update for the Microsoft Copilot app on Windows that introduces direct Settings access,” the Microsoft Copilot team writes in the announcement post. “We are excited to be previewing improvements with our Insiders to ensure all our customers have a great Copilot experience on Windows.”

With direct access to Windows 11 Settings, Copilot can answer questions about individual settings in the OS and link directly to each in the app. “Just ask ‘Make my screen easier to read’ or ‘Help me focus by reducing distractions,’ and Copilot will guide you to the Windows settings page,” Microsoft notes.

Like everything else tied to Windows 11, this feature is rolling out gradually so you’ll get it when you get it. If you don’t have a PC enrolled in the Insider Program, I assume it will appear by the end of 2025.

You’re looking for Copilot app version 1.25095.161 or newer.
