Spotify Now Lets Users Check and Share Their Weekly Listening Stats

Spotify Listening stats

Spotify is adding a new listening stats tab on its mobile app that lets users see their weekly top artists, tracks, and other insights. The new tab is available in more than 60 markets for both Free and Premium users, who can also share their weekly stats or individual highlights via Spotify’s new Direct Message feature or other apps.

“This new feature shows your top artists and songs from the past four weeks, and it serves up playlists inspired by what you love or tracks you might want to queue up next. Each week, it also includes a special highlight that captures what makes your listening unique, whether it’s a milestone, a new discovery, or a fan moment,” the Spotify team explained.

You can access Spotify’s new Listening stats tab by tapping on your profile image in the top left corner of the app. The page will feature top artists and songs, plus individual highlights that can be shared with others. Spotify also still lets users share their listening activity and recently played artists on their public profiles.

Weekly stats will complement Spotify Wrapped, the yearly compilation of users’ top songs, artists, genres, and more that’s designed to be shared on social media. Last year, Spotify also experimented with a personalized Wrapped AI podcast about their listening habits built with Google’s NotebookLM.
