hell freezes over

people who know me will think that hell has frozen over.

sorry microsoft, we’re breaking up.

saddened and wearied by the way that windows has been/is being tainted, i have now moved to zorin 18 and the hitherto dark world of linux. i did plenty of investigation and preparation first, but it was remarkably straightforward and the experience to date has been entirely positive. zorin has been crafted for windows’ refugees like me, and the developers have done a particularly good job of it.

yes, i will need to find alternatives for a couple of my windows’ applications, however i’m looking at doing that as a bit of fun, rather than a downside.

@paul – fear not, i remain loyal to you and the effort you put into this site, and have just renewed my subscription nonetheless !
