Lenovo Announces New PCs, Accessories, Proofs of Concept, and a Personal AI

Lenovo announced a metric ton of new products at CES 2025 this morning, and it’s not just laptops and other PCs. Obviously, there are a lot of PCs. But Lenovo also announced new accessories and other electronics, several proofs of concept, and even a cross-device personal ambiance AI.

Here are some select highlights.

ThinkPad X1 Aura Edition series. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 are flagship AI laptops built using a new Space Frame design that allows components to be placed on both sides of the motherboard to optimize space, improve cooling, and support faster, simpler repairs with replaceable USB ports, battery, keyboard, speakers, and fans. They’re powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and feature a 10 MP webcam with a wide 110 degree field of view.

ThinkPad X9 15p Aura. The X9 was all-new last year and this new edition includes Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processors, up to 64 GB of RAM, a full-size SD card reader, 45 watts of processing power with a large 88 watt-hour battery, a 15.3-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate (VRR), HDR1000 True Black certification, and 1,100 nits of peak brightness, and Lenovo’s largest-ever haptic touchpad.

ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist. This one-time concept PC is now shipping as a real product with a motorized dual-rotation hinge that automatically adjusts the display to suit posture, mode, or presentation angle. It features Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120 Hz VRR, 500 nits of brightness, and Dolby Vision, front-facing Dolby Atmos speakers, and a thin-and-light chassis that weighs 3.09 pounds.

ThinkCentre X Series desktops. The ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition and ThinkCentre X Tower are both desktop PCs with Copilot+ PC capabilities and Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

Proofs of concepts. Lenovo is showing off the ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept, Legion Pro Rollable Concept, and AI Frame Gaming Display Proof of Concept at CES 2026. The Legion Pro Rollable was leaked earlier and its display rolls out horizontally, not vertically as with the ThinkPad Rollable XD.

Lenovo Qira. Lenovo describes Qira as a “personal AI super agent,” or a Personal Ambient Intelligence System that‘s coming to select Lenovo and Motorola products in 2026. “Lenovo Qira is designed to make everyday interactions feel more natural by helping users pick up where they left off, stay organized, and move fluidly between PC, tablet, and phone,” the company notes. “Through integrations with partners such as Expedia Group, Lenovo Qira can surface relevant information and seamlessly transition users to services like Expedia or Vrbo when they are ready to take action. Built on a hybrid AI foundation with user control at the center, Lenovo Qira reflects a vision for more intuitive and personal technology experience.”

New ThinkPad and Lenovo accessories. New for 2026 are the ThinkPad Dual-Mode Wireless ANC Foldable Headset 8550 with Teams certification, ThinkPad Bluetooth Presenter Mouse, and the ThinkPad 16-inch Click-Go Backpack.

Legion Go powered by SteamOS. This new version of the Legion Go 2 runs SteamOS instead of Windows 11. It’s powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, and up to 2 TB of PCIe SSD storage (plus up to an additional 2 TB more via microSD).
