Qualcomm Revenues Up 5 Percent to $12.25 Billion

MWC 2025: Qualcomm X85 5G Modem Hits 12.5 Gbps

Qualcomm reported that it earned a net income of $3 billion on revenues of $12.25 billion in the quarter ending December 28, 2025. Those figures represent gains of 1 percent and 5 percent, respectively, year-over-year (YOY).

“We are pleased to deliver strong quarterly results, with record total company revenues,” Qualcomm president and CEO Cristiano Amon said. “Our momentum across personal, industrial, and physical AI is growing, as evidenced by recent product announcements at CES and customer traction. While our near-term handsets outlook is impacted by industry-wide memory supply constraints, we are encouraged by end-consumer demand for premium and high-tier smartphones, and remain on track to achieve our fiscal 2029 revenue goals.”

The company’s Qualcomm CDMA Technologies division provided $10.6 billion in revenues in the quarter, with $7.8 billion coming from handsets, $1.1 billion coming from automotive, and $1.7 billion coming from IoT. Those figures are up 5 percent, 3 percent, 15 percent, and 9 percent, respectively, YOY.

Qualcomm Technology Licensing added another $1.6 billion in revenues in the quarter, up 4 percent YOY.

While the firm’s results were solid, Qualcomm warned that memory prices would impact sales in the current quarter: Qualcomm said that demand for the premium and high-end smartphones that use its chips was still good. But its estimated $10.2 billion to $11 billion in revenues in this quarter is well below expectations. Qualcomm stock fell 9 percent in after-hours trading on Wednesday.
