New Windows 11 Start Menu

How can I configure this grotesque monstrosity to not be so disgustingly bad? I found NoStartMenuMorePrograms as a registry setting to turn off the tiles but now the menu just is large and empty…

Why are we not given options for the UI? Seriously. We had the old Windows 9x SM in Windows XP for years. First they change it for Windows 11, then they randomly change it again. STOP THIS!
