.NET 11 Preview 3 is Here

.NET 11 Preview 3 is Here

The .NET team continues to release .NET 11 previews on a predictable and timely schedule. But I still have questions about what the point is of this release, as it doesn’t seem to have any major themes, let alone major new features.

“Today, we are excited to announce the third preview release of .NET 11,” the .NET team writes. “This release includes improvements across the .NET Runtime, SDK, libraries, ASP.NET Core, .NET MAUI, C#, Entity Framework Core, container images, and more.”

There’s not much else to say here. Maybe it’s time to rethink the .NET release schedule.

You can install the .NET 11 Preview 3 SDK from the .NET website, and Microsoft recommends using Visual Studio Insiders or Visual Studio Code with the C# Dev Kit extension.
