Acer announced new Swift and Aspire laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors alongside an Intel-powered Predator gaming handheld. The Swift Spin 14 AI is based on the Snapdragon X2, while the Aspire Go 15 is based on the new Snapdragon C processor.
“Snapdragon X2 Series processors deliver leading performance combined with a highly portable, convertible design, coalescing to result in more than the sum of their parts in Acer Swift Spin 14 AI,” Acer general manager James Lin says. “With these synergies, this laptop powered by Snapdragon is the ultimate engine for high-output achievers who demand uncompromising speed, AI integrated processing, and multi-day battery life.”
But let’s start with the Snapdragon C-powered Aspire Go 15. This 15.6-inch laptop features a Snapdragon C processor with an integrated Adreno GPU and NPU, up to 8 GB of RAM (which is interesting), up to 512 GB of storage, and a Full HD (1920 x 1080) display panel. It has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type A port, HDMI 1.4 video-out, and a combo audio jack. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date, Acer says. But it will be an affordable price point and Acer promises “smooth and responsive performance for essential tasks like working, web browsing, and streaming, paired with a cool, quiet design.”

The Acer Swift Spin 14 AI is a convertible Copilot+ PC laptop powered by Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Plus processors, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1 TB of SSD storage. It offers fast charging via a 100-watt USB-C charger, a 14-inch WUXGA IPS glass multitouch display, a bundled Acer Active Stylus 420, dual USB Type-C, dual USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1 ports, DTS:X Ultra Audio, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and Bluetooth LE Audio. It will ship in the EMEA in July, in North America in August, and in Australia in Q3.

Finally, the Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld is powered by a new Intel chipset, the Intel Arc G3 Extreme, that’s made specifically for this type of device. It offers an 8-inch WUXGA touchscreen display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, a choice of Intel Arc G-Series processors with up to Intel Arc B390 graphics with ray-tracing support, DTS:X Ultra Audio, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, and it will ship in October in North America, the EMEA, and Australia.
