Google Launches Gemini 3.7 Flash Model

Google Gemini 3.7 Flash

Google has just announced the availability of Gemini 3.7 Flash, the latest release in its family of lightweight and multimodal AI models designed for high-volume tasks and scalable AI agents. While Google’s long-promised Gemini 3.5 Pro model is still nowhere to be seen, Gemini 3.7 Flash follows the recent release of the Gemini 3.6 Flash three weeks ago.

According to Google, Gemini 3.7 Flash is its “most intelligent workhorse model yet for coding and agents,” with “substantial improvements across software engineering, knowledge work, and web development workflows.” The new model also comes with improved safeguards against misuse in the domains of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) and cyber offense.

In addition to offering improved intelligence for complex workflows, Google emphasized that its latest Gemini Flash model is better at following developer instructions, with a lower cost per task on average compared to its predecessor. Gemini 3.7 Flash is now available for developers and enterprise users at the introductory price of $0.75/1M input tokens and $3.75/1M output tokens.

For consumers, Gemini 3.7 Flash is currently only available via Spark, Google’s AI agent that recently became integrated into the company’s Chrome browser. “This model update makes Spark more efficient for knowledge work with improved tool use for Google Workspace apps, delivering improved accuracy and output quality for complex, multi-skill workflows,” Google said today. Gemini Spark is currently available for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers in over 160 new countries.
