Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is Coming to Game Pass on Day One in August

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy headlines the second wave of new Game Pass games for August. The game will be coming to Game Pass on day one on August 27, where it will join A Plague Tale: Requiem from the same developer, Asobo Studios, which is also behind the latest Flight Simulator games.

Two other games will be coming to Game Pass on day one later this month: the 2D platformer Blood Dungeon from the creators of Nidhogg, and the souls-like platformer Vapor World: Over the Mind. The latter is actually launching in early access via the Game Preview Program on Xbox PC.

• Blood Dungeon (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – Coming on August 25 to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – Coming on August 27 to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Young Suns (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Coming on August 31 to Game Pass Premium
• Shelldiver (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Coming on September 1 to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass

Lastly, six games will be leaving the Game Pass library very soon. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Another Crab’s Treasure, I Am Your Best, Neon Abyss, and One Lonely Outpost will be removed on August 31, and NBA 2K26 will follow on September 6. All these games can be purchased with a 20% discount before they leave the service, however.
