Google’s new Gemini 4 Argon model is now available in the Gemini app for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. The new flagship model was first made available for cybersecurity experts earlier this month, and Google highlighted major improvements to agentic coding at the time.
“Gemini 4 Argon is now available in the Gemini app, delivering frontier reasoning and improved performance across complex tasks. Argon answers questions more directly with less hedging, doesn’t repeat itself more than necessary, and skips clichés throughout the responses. For longer tasks, it keeps you in the loop by sharing its progress more often and more effectively,” Google said today.
Users of the Gemini app for Mac will also notice that Google Antigravity’s agentic coding interface is available right from the app. Google is following the current trend of AI “super apps”, with new chat and tasks tabs available for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. “When you choose tasks, Gemini can work for you even when you’re not at your computer, helping you get more done across your Google apps and more,” Google said today.
In the US, Google AI Pro is priced at $19.99/month, and it includes 5To of cloud storage, YouTube Premium Lite, Google Health Premium, and Google Home Premium Standard. The $99.99/month Google AI Ultra plan offers higher access to Gemini 4 Argon, 20TB of cloud storage, and other benefits such as YouTube Premium and Google Home Premium Advanced.
