Unable to renew Thurrott Premium

I am looking to renew my premium subscription which expired on the 8th but when I select 1 year for $48 the page that loads informs me that this item cannot be purchased and that my cart is empty.

What am I doing wrong? Is it because I am Canadian?

    <p> I am trying to renew my Alpha Member Premium Subscription which expires on August 11, 2017 but when I select 1 year for $42.00 USD the page that loads informs me that this item cannot be purchased and that my cart is empty.</p><p> As per your website on July 11, 2017 it states that Alpha members can renew their subscriptions for the original $42.00 USD promotional pricing. However when I follow the page links I get a “Bad Gateway! “error message. Please confirm as I would like to complete this renewal prior to your promotional offer ending on July 31, 2017.</p><p> </p>

For now, if you can create a help desk ticket, we can make sure to get you the promotional pricing before the offer expires. </p>

    <p>I was able to renew.</p><p><br></p><p>Not complete sure what the issue was but I did note that the support response email sent me a alpha renew link (<a href="https://www.thurrott.com/alpha-renewal&quot; target="_blank"><u>https://www.thurrott.com/alpha-renewal</u></a&gt; ). This was a different link / page that I was directed to when selecting renew from the initial renew email and also when I selected upgrade to premium link on the site.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
