Microsoft Set to Launch the Ultimate Game Sale

Starting Friday, June 30, Microsoft is offering its Ultimate Game Sale with up to 65 percent savings on Xbox and Windows 10 games. Plus, Xbox Live Gold members get an additional 10 percent off.

“Starting June 30, gamers can take advantage of great deals on Xbox games and accessories during the Ultimate Game Sale,” Microsoft’s Mike Nelson writes. “This year, Ultimate Game Sale is four days longer than previous years, running from June 30 to July 10. With saving up to 65% on Xbox games, and Xbox Live Gold members saving up to an additional 10% on the deals, now’s the best time to pick up the games you’ve always wanted to play.”

The Ultimate Game Sale will involve over 300 games and add-ons, Microsoft says, including Injustice 2, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Prey, Rocket League, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy, and many more. There will also be deals on Xbox peripherals, like the Turtle Beach Stealth 420X+ gaming headset and Turtle Beach Stream Mic, and deals for PC gamers too. For example, PC games like Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, Resident Evil 7, Fallout Shelter, Dead Rising 4, and many others will be on sale.

See you on June 30!

Buy Quantum Break! It's a fantastic third person shooter by Remedy, the makers of the Max Payne series. Fun action, mindbending hardcore sci-fi story, smart writing, and engaging 20-minute TV shows that change depending on how you play the game. The Windows Store version is the one you want because it's the only one with DirectX 12. An exceptionally engaging and beautiful game.

Microsoft giving up revenue again – no for a different reason.

Seeing this article I was reminded, oh yeah, I've got that $10 credit on my xbox account I didn't spend that expires some time soon..let me go see if its still there.. yep, ok whats available today….

Oh joy, the store is crap at allowing the user (me) to filter the results so that I can make a reasonable purchase decision (show me only the games for the XBOX 360, that cost under $25). Ok, so no Microsoft I'm not going to click through a butt-tonne of options to manually check the damn details. Just stop being such jerks and provide a differentiation at the console to let us pick 360/one. Because I have the 360 and not the one and that isn't going to change in the next 8 months at least.

I'm assuming this is the intentional goal of the corporate strategy to make exactly zero dollars from folks who only own xbox 360 consoles?

Like the idiot branding of cloud first mobile first -genious there is only ONE first. Those guys must be behind this idea of not allowing 360 owners to filter the store results.

Or maybe they just don't sell any 360 stuff via the online store anymore.. which is ok, but then again, you get zero out of the potential revenue. Money left on the table.
