UPDATE: Here’s yet another confirmation: The Spotify app’s Xbox Store listing is now available online, complete with screenshots. –Paul
A Microsoft promotional video has subtly confirmed that Spotify is coming to the Xbox One video game console. The video follows an earlier revelation in which a Microsoft employee was found to have been using the app.

Microsoft has yet to publicly acknowledge that Spotify is coming to Xbox One, at least not explicitly. But this past week, Larry Hyrb—known to many as Xbox’s Major Nelson—was shown to have been using an app called “Spotify Music – for Xbox”
And now, a few days later, Hyrb can be seen using the app in the latest episode of the “This Week on Xbox” promotional video. No, he never discusses it, or even shows the app. Instead, you can see that it’s available in a clip of the Xbox Guide, which can be seen at about the 9-minute mark in the video. It happens very quickly.
But confirmation is confirmation. And it appears that an official Spotify app is indeed under development for Xbox One.
Thanks to the many readers who tipped me off to this.

Seems that option is already well supported: support.spotify.com/us/listen_everywhere/on_speaker/listening-to-spotify-on-speakers-and-sound-systems/</p>
