Groups. Answering a long-time feature request, you will now be able to group your games and apps in the My Games & Apps interface. Each group includes a custom name, can be organized as you wish, and can be added to Home. Best of all, they sync with your account. Finally!

120 Hz refresh rate support. Following the variable refresh rate and 1440p resolution support in the April update, this month brings support for the higher 120 Hz refresh rate at 1080p and 1440p on supported displays.

Clipping trimming from the Guide. You can now trim your recent game captures directly from the Guide, so you won’t need to switch to Upload Studio to make a quick edit before sharing.

Family Settings improvements. A new Details page will help parents easily find and manage all of the available parental controls.

Xbox Accessories App improvements. This app is being modernized for easier navigation, and to look and feel more consistent with the Xbox One dashboard.

Button command improvements. Microsoft is making a number of changes to the (controller) button commands you can access from the dashboard. So you can now use the View button on Home to edit the order of blocks or reorder items within Groups. You can also use View in the Guide’s main to display additional capture options. And if you group collections in My Games & Apps by letter, you can now select a letter to view all groups.

Microsoft says that the May update for Xbox One will start rolling out in the coming weeks.

Very interested in the 120 Hz support, but I'm curious about what games will support it, if any. There's a lot of games that are locked at 30 Hz. Theoretically, if the One X can run a given game at 4K/30 could, then it should have plenty of power to run that game at 1080p/120 (1/4 the pixels, 4x as many FPS). Is Microsoft just gonna let the user decide?

In reply to MikeCerm:

Well, I don't see demanding games achieving anything above 60fps, but combined with variable refresh rates, I can see indi games and more less demanding games having an uncapped framerate, allowing the game to go past 60fps, taking advantage of 120Hz monitors.

In reply to MikeCerm:

Some games already run un-capped. For those games they could push past the 60fps after this patch. This would be for 1440p or less as I do not think are any or many 4K monitors that go above 60hz

What I would like to see is the ability to automatically group games by type so that, for example, when friends come around we know which games support local 2/4 player without having to search the internet to find a list. Games with Gold has really filled up the list of games making what should be simple very time consuming.

Also very few games seem to support local multiplayer these days with online being the only multiplayer option.
