PUBG, Ori and the Blind Forest, More Joining Xbox Game Pass

Even though most viewers were focused at the new games coming out of X018, Microsoft made some major movements with Xbox Game Pass. The company’s Netflix-like subscription service for games is getting a bunch of new games this month and December just in time for your Christmas holidays.

Microsoft already announced  5 titles that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, and it has announced some more titles that will be joining the service in the coming weeks.

PUBG is the major new game coming to Xbox Game Pass. The addition of PUBG to Game Pass is important mainly because the game is supposed to launch on the PlayStation 4 some time soon. Just days before X018, Microsoft even offered the game for free to everyone on the Xbox One. The game is joining Xbox Game Pass tomorrow.

Along with PUBG, Microsoft is adding Theif of Thieves to Xbox Game Pass, as well as Agents of Mayhem, MXGP3 and Thomas Was Alone, which will be joining the service on November 22. In December, Microsoft plans to add another major title — Ori and the Blind Forest — as well as Kingdom Two Crowns, and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to Xbox Game Pass. And when the next Ori title — Ori and the Will of the Wisps — lands, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass immediately.

More titles from independent developers are coming to Xbox Game Pass as well, with new titles like Aftercharge, Supermarket Shriek, Mutant Year Zero, Pathologic 2, The Good Life, Void Bastards, and Secret Neighbor.

Xbox Game Pass’ collection of games is expanding significantly this Holiday. If you haven’t played any of these games, you will probably need to get your days cleared out over the holidays. And if you wanna make managing these games easier, Microsoft just launched the Xbox Game Pass app for Android and iOS devices for everyone today.

And if you aren’t an Xbox Game Pass subscriber yet, Microsoft’s offering the first month for only $1 until January 3.
