Microsoft Announces New Xbox One Bundles

Microsoft’s decision to lower prices on the Xbox One in 2015 and then offer numerous value-added bundles was clearly a big success. So today, the software giant announced two new Xbox One bundles, including a version that lets you pick a a full-game download of your choice.

“While the holidays are now behind us, we’re excited to ring in the New Year with even more value and choice for our fans to experience the greatest games lineup in Xbox history well into 2016,” a new post to the Xbox Wire blog reads.

On that note, Microsoft has announced the following two new bundles.

Xbox One Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Bundle. This bundle includes an Xbox One 1 TB console, a copy of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and full-game downloads of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas andTom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2. (Note: the latter two are Xbox 360 titles that work in backwards compatibility mode.) This bundle costs US$399 at participating retailers, including Microsoft stores, in all regions where Xbox One is available, except Belgium, China, France, Japan and Netherlands. It is shipping to retailers today.

Xbox One 500GB Name Your Game Bundle. This bundle includes an Xbox One 500 GB console and a full-game download of one title of your choice from the following list: Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rare Replay. This bundle will cost US$349 and will start shipping to participating retailers on January 12 in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand and the U.K. It will then ship to participating retailers (including Microsoft stores) in the U.S., Brazil and Canada in late January.
