Microsoft surprised Fast ring testers last night with yet another last minute build of the Windows 10 Insider Preview. And yes, of course there are no new features.
Indeed, there’s precious little information about this build at all. You may recall that I referred to the previous build, 15058, which shipped just two days prior, as what we might have called a Release Candidate in days past. Well, let’s call this one—build 15060—Release Candidate 2, or RC2. You know, just for laughs.
Anyway, build 15060 contains a number of fixes, none major. You can see the full list at the Microsoft blog post.

There is likewise a short list of known issues. Nothing serious.
If I were to guess—and I pretty much have to—this build was really released to address an issue where some Insiders couldn’t complete the installation of the previous build.
