Fire TV Cube (3rd Gen)

This new version of Amazon’s flagship Fire TV device comes with a powerful octa-core 2.0 GHz processor, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and an HDMI input so that you can connect compatible cable TV boxes, Blu-ray players, and other devices (and then say things like, “Alexa, tune to ESPN on cable” to control those devices). It also supports Super Resolution Upscaling, 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR, and immersive Dolby Atmos audio.

The new Fire TV Cube is available for pre-order today in the United States for $139.99. It will ship on October 22.

Fire TV on Echo Show 15

Amazon announced at today’s event that it will be bringing its Fire TV experience to Echo Show 15 devices this year. “Of customers that used their Echo Show 15 device last month, over 70 percent used it to watch videos,” Amazon explained. “So, at no extra cost, we’re adding the Amazon Fire TV experience to new and existing Echo Show 15s. We think customers will love having access to the Fire TV content they know and love.”

Fire TV Omni QLED series smart TVs

This new addition to the Amazon Fire TV Omni series is the first-ever family of smart TVs to feature Amazon’s new Fire TV Ambient Experience.

This “turns the TV into an always-smart device when not streaming,” Amazon notes “It uses its built-in presence sensors to detect when a person enters the room and switches to the beautiful and informative Ambient Experience. Instead of a blank screen, the TV uses the power of Alexa to enable you to see helpful information, manage your smart home, listen to or discover new content, and view artwork or family photos. The new Fire TV Ambient Experience can be controlled hands-free.”

The Omni QLED Series TVs also feature 4K Quantum Dot Technology (QLED) displays with full-array local dimming of up to 96 zones and support for both Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive.

The Omni QLED Series is available for pre-order starting today and will ship “in the coming weeks.”

Alexa Voice Remote Pro

This new premium remote is compatible with most Fire TV streaming media players and smart TVs, and it includes a Remote Finder feature (“Alexa, find my remote”), two new customizable buttons, and motion-activated backlighting that automatically illuminates the buttons when the remote is picked up in low-light settings.

Alexa Voice Remote Pro is available for pre-order today on Amazon.com for $34.99 in the United States. It ships on November 16.
