Every so often, the spam filters on outlook.com get out of whack and you have to manually remove the junk. Usually that doesn’t last too long. But I’ve been having to manually remove spam for several weeks now, and outlook seems unable to deal ny this stuff. I was wondering if this is something other people are seeing.
The most common one is a fake prize. I subscribe to lots of “store deal” email, like from Lowe’s, to see what they are putting on sale. The bogus email uses all the logos, etc, of the Lowes web page to tell me I’ve won a significant price, like a fairly valuable tool set.
Some of these go to junk mail, but a lot of them get through to the inbox. I end up manually removing half a dozen or more of these scam emails every day. I report all of them as phishing email, but they remain a persistent annoyance.
Is it just me?
