As we’re now less than 10 days away from the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Microsoft has just revealed the Black Ops 6 Xbox accessories collection that includes an Xbox Series X Wrap and two limited edition controllers. The design for these new accessories is inspired by the game “gritty ’90s spy thriller aesthetic,” the Xbox team said today.
The new Black Ops 6-themed Xbox Series X wrap follows the release of Starfield-themed console wrap last year. It’s available for pre-order exclusively from the Microsoft Store, and the company will be offering a one-hour 2XP token for use in Black Ops 6 to customers for a limited time. The new Xbox Series X wrap is priced at $54.99 and it will start shipping on October 23.
The two Black Ops 6 controllers, a regular Xbox Wireless controller and an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller are available exclusively through the Xbox Design Lab. They can be customized with additional color options, rubberized side and back grips, and more. “The top case and side caps feature a layered pattern of redacted documents, hidden coordinates, and concealed Black Ops symbols, representing a campaign shrouded in secrecy,” the Xbox team explained.
These new Black Ops 6 Xbox controllers start at $84.98 for the regular controller and $164.98 for the Elite Series 2 version. In addition to these new Xbox accessories, new Black Ops 6-inspired hoodies and joggers are also available on the Xbox Gear Shop.
While Microsoft’s marketing campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just getting started, the company quietly paused $1 Game Pass trials ahead of the release of the game on October 25. Black Ops 6 will be the first Call of Duty game to be released on day one on Game Pass, and Microsoft certainly hopes that it’s going to boost Game Pass subscriptions after the company spent $68 billion last year to acquire Activision Blizzard.
