Stardock releases Multiplicity 4

Stardock Multiplicity 4

Stardock today released Multiplicity 4, a major update to its software KVM solution that, among other things, now supports Windows 11 on Arm.

“Multiplicity is trusted by emergency call centers around the globe and is used extensively by our manufacturing partners,” Stardock’s Brad Sams says. “With this release, Multiplicity 4 will help our partners use a single solution for all of their KVM and remote desktop needs for the modern workplace.”

As a software KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) solution, Multiplicity 4 lets you control multiple PCs using a single mouse and keyboard using Stardock’s proprietary ControlStream v4 technology. Key features include:

  • Seamless Displays lets you use any Windows laptop as a secondary display without the complexity and performance issues of the native feature in Windows 11.
  • Stream multiple monitors to the primary device at once using advanced compression for a full-fidelity experience.
  • Seamless multi-device experience has been updated to support resolution-aware monitor placement to improve movement between multiple PCs and precision.
  • Windows 11 on Arm support. All Multiplicity 4 features work natively on Windows 11 on Arm, with one exception: You can’t use a Windows 11 on Arm PC as the primary device with Seamless Display. A future update should add this feature.

Multiplicity 4 is available now and is ready for corporate deployments. It costs $29.99 as a standalone product, but it’s also included with Object Desktop. You can learn more on the Multiplicity website.
