Google started rolling out yesterday the August 2025 update for all Pixel devices running Android 16, the latest version of the OS. This monthly software update should improve system stability and address two issues affecting the Pixel 7 and newer models.
The first issue caused the scheduled dark theme option to not work as expected in certain conditions. The second issue is related to 3-button navigation and gesture navigation, and it has been widely reported on Reddit and other places.
This August 2025 Pixel update is available for the Pixel 6 and newer models, as well as the Pixel Tablet. As usual, the rollout will happen over the coming weeks, depending on carriers and devices.
Google recently started teasing the Pixel 10 lineup on its Pixel Store ahead of its upcoming Made by Google event on August 20. The full Pixel 10 lineup has now leaked, revealing some hardware details of the Pixel 10 Fold, Pixel 10 Pro/Pro XL, and Pixel 10.
