ChatGPT Adds Free Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Express Apps

ChatGPT Adobe apps

Adobe is launching today free Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat apps in ChatGPT. The new apps can be used by ChatGPT users to edit images and PDFs, create professional designs, and more right within a conversation with the chatbot.

OpenAI announced two months ago that it was bringing third-party apps to ChatGPT, starting with Booking, Expedia, Canva, Figma, Spotify, and a couple of other apps. The addition of Adobe’s top creative and productivity apps validates the company’s strategy to turn ChatGPT into an app store-like platform where developers can reach its 800 million weekly users. ChatGPT also lets users edit pictures and documents using natural language prompts, which is also quite a paradigm shift for Adobe’s popular creativity apps.

“Adobe apps for ChatGPT bring Adobe’s category-defining tools to people who may be new to its apps,” Adobe said today. “The apps provide users with many popular features they need to create within the chat, where they can make conversational edits or take control using Adobe’s intuitive tools like sliders in Photoshop, to adjust image brightness or contrast.”

The Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat apps for ChatGPT are now available globally on desktop, the web, and iOS devices. Android users can only access the Adobe Express app for ChatGPT at the moment, but the Photoshop and Acrobat apps are coming soon. To access the new Adobe apps, ChatGPT users just need to type the app name and specify what they want to do with it.
