I canceled my Office subscription

I did it. I canceled my Microsoft Office subscription. I’m no longer willing to pay €100 a year for features I never use.

My wife and I each got a discounted Office 365 Standard license through our employers.

Maybe Microsoft will eventually realize that they shouldn’t bombard their loyal customers with unnecessary features, especially when they’re buried in every corner of Windows and Office where they’re more of a nuisance than a help.

My online backup is handled by a German backup provider, and my email is backed up via ActiveSync through my web host.

Sorry, Microsoft, but enough is enough.
