Samsung Announces Multi-Agent Ecosystem for Galaxy AI

With just days to go before the Galaxy S26 series launch event, Samsung continues to tease some big changes. This time around, the smartphone giant says it will evolve its Galaxy AI ecosystem to include multiple AI agents.

“Samsung continues to evolve its AI experience by adding a new AI agent across the Galaxy ecosystem to make everyday interactions easier,” the firm announced this weekend. “Built around Samsung’s vision of AI that reduces effort and steps across everyday tasks, Galaxy AI is designed to help users get things done more naturally with greater choice, flexibility, and control”

A major component of this evolution is the introduction of AI agents, and Samsung says that it will pursue a multi-agent approach to give customers the best possible experience. One of those agents, interestingly, will be Perplexity, which users will be able to summon by saying “Hey, Plex” or by pressing and holding the side button. Perplexity’s AI agent will integrate with select Samsung apps—Samsung Notes, Clock, Gallery, Reminder, and Calendar—and select third-party apps. And it will enable multi-step workflows at the system level.

Samsung says you will be able to learn more about this and other Galaxy AI innovations during Wednesday’s Galaxy Unpacked launch.
