Adobe Launches Student Spaces, Its Take on NotebookLM

Adobe has launched a competitor to Google NotebookLM inside Acrobat called Student Spaces. It’s currently in beta and it’s free.

“Student Spaces in Acrobat is designed specifically for students like you, to help make studying faster, easier and way more effective,” Adobe’s Charlie Miller writes. “Whether you’re crafting presentations, preparing for internships or starting your first big job, we’re here to help you stand out, not stress out.”

Student Spaces is, as its name suggests, designed specifically for students. It’s a dedicated space in Acrobat for adding class notes, documents, and links that can be used to create study guides and mind maps. It includes an AI Assistant that can help you break down complex topics with answers that include linked citations, can convert notes into audio summaries and deep-dive podcasts, and offers collaboration capabilities.
