Amazon is streamlining its Luna cloud gaming service and ending individual game purchases, third-party subscriptions, and integrations with third-party stores from EA, Ubisoft, and GOG. The company has started emailing Luna users about the upcoming changes and explained that Luna games available for Prime members are what the company will prioritize going forward.
“At Amazon, we’re always looking for ways to better serve our players. Your feedback has been clear: you want easy access to great games, more social experiences, and a steady flow of new content from developers you know and love. As our library continues to grow, more of that content is available to Prime members – and that’s where we’re focusing our future,” the company wrote in the email.

Starting today, April 10, 2026, Amazon is no longer offering individual game purchases and Ubisoft+ and Jackbox Games third-party subscriptions. Subscribers to these services will be able to renew one final time after their current billing cycle ends, then all subscriptions will be automatically cancelled.
Luna users who purchased individual games on the platform will no longer be able to play them after June 10, 2026. However, these games will remain playable on PC via the third-party store (EA, GOG, or Ubisoft) that was linked during the purchase process.
Amazon will also discontinue integrations with third-party stores after June 3, 2026. This means that Luna subscribers will no longer be able to play select games they bought on the EA, Ubisoft, and GOG stores on the cloud gaming platform. Amazon will allow Luna users to download their game save data for affected titles for 90 days after June 10, 2026, from the platform’s Settings page.
Amazon relaunched its Luna cloud gaming service in October 2025 with an increased focus on casual party games that can be played using a smartphone as a controller. This new version of Luna, accessible with a Prime subscription, continues to offer access to more games via a complementary Luna+ subscription priced at $9.99/month. Games in the Luna+ library currently include EA Sports FC 26, Hogwarts Legacy, Skyrim, Alan Wake II, Death Stranding, the Tomb Raider Trilogy, and more.
