Google Delivers Personal Intelligence in Gemini (Mostly) Worldwide

Following its U.S. release in March, Google’s Personal Intelligence for Gemini is now available worldwide. This feature lets you connect Gemini to Google’s popular apps and services like Gmail and Photos.

“Personal Intelligence securely connects information from apps like Gmail and Google Photos to make Gemini uniquely helpful,” Google vice president Josh Woodward explained back in January. “If you turn it on, you control exactly which apps to link, and each one supercharges the experience. It connects Gmail, Photos, YouTube and Search in a single tap, and we’ve designed the setup to be simple and secure.”

Personal Intelligence works across Web, Android and iOS and with all the models in the Gemini model picker. And Google doesn’t train those models with your Gmail or Photos.

With today’s release, Personal Intelligence is available to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers across all supported languages worldwide, excluding the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK for now. Google says it will expand the rollout to free users in the coming weeks.
