Xbox Fans Express Their Desire for Exclusive Games on New Player Voice Feedback Hub

The new Xbox leadership team recently said that it wanted to “fix the fundamentals for players and partners,” and it’s keeping to its word with the launch of a new Player Voice feedback hub. This is where Xbox fans can now share what they want the Xbox team to work on, though Microsoft made it clear that not all submitted ideas will come to life.

“When you submit feedback, teams review and organize it so it can be understood and considered alongside other work. In some cases, ideas will move forward. In others, they may take longer to implement or may not be something we can act on. When there are meaningful updates, we’ll share them,” the Xbox team explained yesterday.

The new Xbox Player Voice portal will complement existing tools like the Xbox Insider Hub and Xbox support forums. It pretty much works like the old Uservoice feedback sites that Microsoft discontinued back in 2021.

“We’re starting small and will learn as we go. That means the experience will evolve over time as we see what’s useful and where we can do better,” the Xbox team said yesterday.

As of this writing, the #1 feedback item with close to 7,000 votes and 1,000 comments on the Xbox Player Voice portal is about exclusive games. “XBOX was built off of great game exclusives, you cannot sell any consoles without a reason to buy the console compared to your competition or even sending your tentpole games over to your competitor. BRING THEM BACK PLEASE,” the message reads.

The #2 item on the Xbox Player Voice portal is about reviving the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program, and the third item is about making online multiplayer free on Xbox consoles. The latter is reportedly something Microsoft is considering for its next-gen Project Helix, which will play PC games as well as Xbox games.

What do you think should be the Xbox team’s top priority right now? Sound off in the comments below.
