Vivaldi 8.1 is a minor fit and finish update after the massive UX overhaul we got in Vivaldi 8.0 in late May.
“Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring you an even smoother browsing experience, so that you can go back to enjoying the summer and —if that’s your thing— watching football,” Vivaldi founder and CEO Jon von Tetzchner writes. “We’ve spent the last weeks getting Vivaldi in great shape”
Vivaldi 8.1 focuses on improvements–like refinements to tabs and the new UI auto-hide feature based on feedback–and bug fixes.
“This release doesn’t come with big headlines,” von Tetzchner adds. “It reflects the kind of browser we believe in, one that quietly works for you, on your terms.”
