Windows Insiders Get More Windows 11 In-Box App Updates

One month ago, Microsoft started documenting the Windows 11 in-box app updates it’s making through the Windows Insider Program ahead of their release to the public in stable.

But now that it’s the end of July, the company has issued a new set of these updates, in this case to Calculator, Clock, Media Player, and Notepad. Each is heading to the Experimental, Experimental (26H1), Experimental (Future Platforms), Beta, and Release Preview channels, which means we should see them on or around next month’s Patch Tuesday updates in stable.

Here’s what’s new:

• Calculator gets three sets of fixes tied to Scientific mode, an access key conflict, and screen reader support.
• Clock has two fixes, for a Focus Sessions bug and the accuracy of sunrise and sunset times, especially at high latitudes.
• Media Player gets three sets of fixes for local album art, disabled libraries, and track list rendering.
• Notepad has several fixes for issues related to Markdown files, copying and pasting indented and nested lists, concurrent print jobs, launch performance, and underscore character rendering.

Nothing major, basically.
