Google Updates Gemini Notebook With New Co-Creation Capabilities

Google is updating Gemini Notebook with new slide deck and video overview co-creation capabilities.

“Based on your feedback, Gemini Notebook now offers more creative control from start to finish on two of our popular outputs, Slide Decks and Video Overviews,” Google’s Viraj Doshi and Shan Wang write in the announcement post. “Instead of jumping from an initial prompt straight to a final output, Gemini Notebook can now walk you through the creation flow in a quick process based directly on your sources.”

As before, you can start creating slide decks and video overviews right in chat, but with this update, Notebook will use a new co-creator workflow where it suggests topics to be included and then guides the visual style and format based on your feedback. Then, once the item is created, you can use a “Review” toggle to edit it further.

Google says that these new co-creation capabilities are rolling out globally to all Gemini Notebook users over the upcoming week.
