Nvidia and Meta announced today that they are expanding their partnership on Muse AI models and agents, while Nvidia will $3 billion in Meta’s equity offering.
“AI agents represent a new computing paradigm [of] software that understands our goals, reasons, uses tools, and gets work done on our behalf,” Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said. “This changes how we use computers, from operating applications to working with intelligent agents. NVIDIA and Meta are expanding our partnership to optimize the computing infrastructure end to end for capable, efficient and secure AI agents, so Muse can empower billions of people to achieve more and pursue greater ambitions.”
Meta uses Nvidia infrastructure for its Muse AI models and agents and each has seen dramatic success in a short period of time because they’re free (for now) and offer surprisingly good performance and capabilities.
Looking ahead, the companies will expand their collaboration through the Nvidia OpenShell Reference Architecture, including Nvidia OpenShell for safe deployment and Nvidia Sentry for agent behavior monitoring. And Meta will expand its use of Nvidia infrastructure to include Vera Rubin and Vera CPUs for next-generation AI agents and Nvidia Spectrum-X and BlueField-4 Ethernet networking.
