Google has started rolling out the mobile version of its Gemini chatbot in Europe and the UK. Gemini launched in select markets back in February as a rebranded version of Google’s existing Bard AI chatbot, and it’s currently available on the web on gemini.google.com as well as mobile devices.

“We’re rolling out the Gemini app to more countries — including the United Kingdom and across Europe — so more people across the globe can collaborate, create and bring their ideas to life,” Google said today. Gemini works like other AI assistants and can help users with writing, summarizing content, creating custom images, searching for more information about pictures, and more. As a Google app, it can also find quick information from Gmail or Google Drive.

Google has a dedicated Gemini app on Android that’s available to download from the Play Store. In Google Assistant, Android users can also opt in to Gemini and make it their primary digital assistant. In that case, saying “Hey Google” will make Gemini show up over the screen.

While there’s a standalone Google Assistant app on iOS, Gemini is currently only available as new tab within the main Google app for iOS. If you don’t see immediately, this new Gemini tab will roll out to all users over the coming weeks.

Gemini is currently available in various languages including Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. However, the mobile apps only support personal Google accounts, and they also don’t support users with Gemini Business, Gemini Enterprise, or Gemini Education add-on.
