Adobe recently announced its Firefly AI Assistant and this intriguing new offering is now available in public beta.
“Adobe is leading the shift into a new era of agentic creativity, where you direct how your work takes shape and your perspective, voice and taste become the most powerful creative instruments of all,” Adobe president David Wadhwani says. “Adobe Firefly is a category of one, with the best models, the most powerful tools and now, a fundamentally new way of creating that gives you the combined power and precision of all our creative apps in one place.”
Powered by Adobe’s creative agent, Firefly AI Assistant lets creators use natural language to describe what they want. It will then orchestrate and execute multi-step workflows across the capabilities of the Creative Cloud apps and interact with the customer using a conversational interface.
Firefly AI Assistant includes a library of Creative Skills and users can customize and create their own. It understands the types of content one might be creating, including images, videos, designs, and brand assets, and it can learn the creator’s preferences over time, including their preferred tools, workflows and aesthetic choices, to deliver more consistent, tailored results, Adobe says.
The Firefly AI Assistant public beta is now available globally in Adobe Firefly for customers with a Creative Cloud Pro, Firefly Pro, Firefly Pro Plus, or Firefly Premium plan.
