Google announced major changes to its Google AI subscription plans for individuals. Key among them is a new $100 per month AI Ultra plan for power users.
“We’re redefining what AI can do, and a Google AI subscription is your VIP pass to experience all of it,” Google vice president Shimrit Ben-Yair writes. “Our AI subs offer premium benefits across Google, extra storage and tools to boost your productivity and creativity.”
Here’s what’s new.
Google AI Ultra 5x. This new $100 per month plan provides 20 TB of Google Drive storage, family sharing with up to 5 people, 5x higher usage limits than Google AI Plus, and access to pro models, Deep Think, custom AI experts, Gemini Live, Daily Brief (U.S. only), Nano Banana Pro, video generation with Omni Flash, music creation with Lyria 3, Ask your Gmail inbox and AI Overviews (U.S. only), plus higher usage limits in NotebookLM, Google Flow, Google Antigravity, Google AI Studio, and more.
Google AI Ultra 20x. This is the original AI Ultra plan, renamed and with a monthly price reduction from $250 to $200. It has everything in the above plan, but with 30 TB of Google Drive, 20x the usage limits of Google AI Plus, and the highest access to all the services. (You can compare the various plans here.)

Gemini Spark is coming to AI Ultra 5x and 20x. This new personal AI agent “helps you navigate your digital life, takes action on your behalf and is under your direction.” It can connect to your information across Google products and will roll out to trusted testers this week, with a Beta for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. starting next week.
Project Genie expansion. Project Genie is a Google AI Ultra 20x perk, an experimental research prototype that is now rolling out to subscribers 18 and older. It includes a new capability powered by Street View that will let you create “new, unexpected worlds anchored in reality.”
Gemini Omni. This is Google’s new world-scale AI model, and it’s coming to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers. “It combines Gemini’s intelligence with [Google’s] generative media models for a new level of world understanding, multimodality and editing,” Google explains. “Omni in the Gemini app helps you bring your ideas to life, using any combination of text, images and video inputs … And in Google Flow, [Google’s] AI creative studio, Gemini Omni allows you to blend real-world inspiration with generated content and iterate conversationally.”
Gemini 3.5 Flash. This latest new fast and efficient model delivers “frontier performance” for agents, coding, and long-running tasks. It’s available to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers now across products.
AI inbox in Gmail. Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the U.S. now get access to the AI inbox in Gmail, which “shares your most critical to-dos, provides personalized draft replies, marks to-dos as done and surfaces links to relevant Docs, Sheets and Slides to help you triage your inbox and take action faster.”
Daily Brief in the Gemini app. Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the U.S. also gain access to this personalized digest that’s designed to be your first stop every morning. “By distilling important updates from your Gmail, Calendar and Gemini chats into one intelligent, easy-to-read view, it flags your top priorities and suggests immediate next steps,” Google notes. “It transforms the start of your morning from a scramble into an action plan that lets you jump into the things that actually matter.”
Premium benefits. Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers already get a YouTube Premium individual plan as part of their subscription, and, in the coming days, Google a YouTube Premium Lite plan in select countries too. “This adds $8.99 in value monthly, and lets you watch most YouTube and YouTube Kids videos ad-free, offline, and in the background for an enhanced entertainment experience,” Google notes. “Health Premium and Home Premium are also included in AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions at no additional cost.”
Lurking under all this change, Google is also shifting from a daily prompt limit to a compute usage model that “factor in the complexity of your prompt, the features you use and the length of your chat.” This is similar to how other paid AI offerings are changing, and Google says that your limits will refresh every five hours until you reach your weekly limit. If you do hit that limit, Google will automatically shift you to its smaller models, while Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can buy pay-as-you-go credits for Google Antigravity, Google Flow and, coming soon, the Gemini app.
